Photography- M.I.M.
Why?
I began looking at the Boyle Family as I'm drawn to physical works, so I have created my own physical developments based off the Boyle Families. Then, I zoomed in on the specific parts to each piece and took a closer look using the Macro Lens. Taking the artists work and developing to leave my own trace.

Physical Development
This is my physical development based off a piece from the Boyle Families ‘Japan series’. To create this 3D replica, I used mod rock, cardboard, stones, mud, sand and acrylic paint.

Physical Developments
I started with my photograph in black and white. I, next sketched it out using a black, fine liner. Then I created a 3D replica by printing my photo in colour. Finally I cut a piece of of cardboard to the size of the platform and covered it in mod rock and once smoothed and dried I added the details using acrylic paint.
Texture Swatches
I created these swatches using red and yellow acrylic paint mixed with plain flour and water.
I created these swatches using black and white acrylic paint, mixed with flour, water and sugar. Finally I added some miniature stones.
To create these swatches I mixed compost with water and brown and black acrylic paint.

Macro Lens Selections
I used the lens by placing closely towards the rocks, flour and mud to see what images I could create.
